A few months ago, I attended a gallery show for toy camera work in the Valley. At the time, I had already been awed by Don Brice's work, but when I saw his "Donkey" at the show (http://www.southlight.com.au/photographers_bric.asp?UnqID=0.5950708&ImageID=1228) I knew I had to own that print. After a few weeks, Don was good enough to do a swap with me. Now Donkey is happily hanging on my wall.

But prior to owning the print, I developed what I've termed "donkey on the brain". I kept unconsciously taking shots of horses that somehow resembled Don's Donkey. I think this is one of my favorites of the bunch. Which is why I named it in honor of Mr. Donkey.
