![]() Today was the first time it didn’t rain in…I can’t remember when. I bet it was my Sundance! Off to do a "calm" dance for Leon, Ed and Damien and a rain dance for DB before I retire this evening. You just never know, right? I returned to the scene of the crime to snap a few shots to keep in the memory chest. My car was mere feet from the VW. And see those cut wires lying on the ground? Yup. You guessed it. Those were the buggers that were surrounding my car. Oh, and the shot of the pole cut in half. Well, you can figure that one out for yourself. You can bet your boots, I’m thankful I wasn’t chopped, pressed and deep fried. The last shot is from my deck. If you look really hard you’ll see a patch of blue sky! Glorious isn’t it? Look harder and you’ll see a helicopter right above. …Yeah, the dot. They’ve been hovering above all day. It’s like a damn war zone, since they closed the main access to the canyon due to a massive mud slide. Such is life. My power and gas are back on, so I’m living large. Thinking of my pals in the U.K dealing with all the winds (duck Ed! duck Leon!) All of you Down Under dealing with fires. Will focus on a rain dance for DB. And of course thinking of the Tsunami victims. Please donate to a reputable charity if you can afford to do so. Okay... Off to dance for you all. | |
