In honor of G Dubya's big day.

Four more years. I can't bear it.

Shot this one with my Diana Deluxe last month. Glad I was able to find the proper means to use it.

Big congratulations to California Senator Barbara Boxer. The woman has serious cajones. Did I spell that right? She really stuck Condi with a wicked left hook during the confirmation hearings today. I haven't been that proud of a politician in...I have no idea how long.

Five days and counting to a particular day that I will not name, yet merely allude to because it gives me the willies.

I once liked this nameless day back when Mom bought me Sara Lee chocolate cupcakes with rainbow colored sprinkles to bring to class. Which is something that's always baffled me... Why was it considered correct ettiquite to bring your own cupcakes on this particular day that I won't mention since it gives me the willies? Why didn't someone else bring them for you? Wouldn't that have been more appropriate? Guess they were just preparing us for the harsh realities of life, such as if you want a chocolate cupcake with rainbow colored sprinkles, you'll just have to get it yourself.

I think I'll hide in my closet with a box of cupcakes and not come out on the day that gives me willies. Then maybe it will be like it never happened?
