I get itchy when I'm not modifying a camera or working on a new approach to my experimental or toy camera work. But I begin to itch even more when I come up with an idea, but can't produce the results I have in mind. I've been scratching away for the past two months.

During that time, I've been attempting to adapt various toy cameras for zoneplates and sieves. I began the journey with a Holga, but quickly realized that was the ultimate in flying blind. Usually, I love to fly blind, but my Holga Zone has a ways to go. So I modified a Lubi 166 that's been sitting on my shelf waiting for a purpose.

This shot comes from the first test lubi-zone roll taken over the weekend. I've got a ways to go, but me thinks there might be some promise. Thoughts?

No news from Jake.
Instead of sitting here, twiddling my thumbs and giving up hope, I think I'll be popping over to Texas in a few. Fingers crossed he'll turn up tomorrow. But please keep sending positive thoughts Jake's way. Thanks again guys.
