Lubitel with a homemade tilt/shift dories lens

This is a byproduct of me getting itchy and having to modify something, as usual.

A few weeks ago I purchased a Dories that had multiple problems and seems it can't be fixed. :(
But when life hands you lemons...make a modification!
I'm posting three pictures from my Frankenstein experiments this past weekend (just hit previous to see the other two). Yeah...I know. Flowers, ecch. But it was just a few test rolls.

The first picture is from a Lubitel which I removed the lens from to use as a zoneplate. I added a tilt and shift dories lens which I surrounded with rubber and taped on. The tilt and shift portion needs work, since the top of the frame is going black. But it's a start.

The next two pictures of the little red flower, involved a Diana in need of a lot of repairs. So I popped the existing lens off, added my tilt and shift make-shift bellows and attached the Dories lens. Presto. Okay. It wasn't as easy as that, but it sounds good. No PS work here except levels and little color balance.

Becky R.(aka Astro Beck) has started a blog for her astro photography. Pop on over and say hi if you get a chance. http://infinity.my-expressions.com/. Or just click the Astro Beck link below.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to input a link in my-expressions text?
