Another from the Lubi-dor portrait series I shot last weekend. Thoughts?
I don't think it's as interesting as the previous three, but curious to learn what you think.

I'd like to thank countless photobloggers who helped me fight the good fight yesterday. (Ed Wenn, Myla Kent, Heather Champ, Miles Storey, Btzera, Bill Vaccarro, Tread-- just to name a few wonderfully supportive folks).

Sadly, someone took four of my images off my blog, manipulated them into a collage, then attempted to pass the work off as their own without my approval or crediting the original photographer. Since I copyright all my images, this is not only illegal, but it's disrespectful and just in bad faith. Some people suggested what this man did should be viewed as an honor. But for me, it was a violation and an act of disrespect.

I'm one of those people who despises rules, regulations and signs and has to do everything my own way. But you'll notice I've reluctantly been forced to place an official copyright notice below, much like I have on my pro website. I'm saddened to have to do it, but this individual has me running to defend my photos like their innoncent kids being lured away by some candy bribing Stranger Danger.

The enlightening event that emerged from this upsetting situation, was that I witnessed the positive power of the internet through the mad typing fingers of all that helped to correct this situation. The gentleman who posted this picture, ended up removing it and sending me a formal apology after dozens of people complained and even sent him personal notes. This man's actions made me more cautious, but I won't stop posting because of it. Still, you might want to consider posting a copyright or creative commons notice on your blog to remind others they can't "borrow" and reinterpret your work without the risk of penalty by law. Makes me feel icky to have to write all that. But if I can help another photoblogger avoid the bad feelings I had yesterday, then it's worth it.

A big hug to everyone who offered support or helped fight the good fight to get the photo in question removed from Flickr. Thanks you guys.
